Battlefield 3 is released on 25 Oct in North America and sell over 5 million copies in its opening weekend. It is released by EA which is most famous for its racing games like Need For Speed MostWanted & Need for speed Run. It is first person shooter game. Battlefield 3 released after almost 5 years of Battlefield 2 but this series got a big hit in Battlefield bad Company 2 (BFBC2). It support direct x10 or 11 which is the latest versions. There are also tank missions in Battlefield 3 but most of its fun in online playing.

It is the biggest game launch of all time and grossed 400 million dollars but beaten by Black Ops 2 with 500 million dollars grossed.
